Marina J’s Yoga clothing for women came about because the designer of Marina J, Marina Jacoby-Leonard was a yoga teacher and could not find anything elegant and feminine to wear to yoga. She also wanted high quality as she was teaching a lot of classes each week and found all the other yoga and sport brands were wearing out around the knees – the fabric would not snap back in. So she found a manufacturer that also made garments for couture design houses and set about asking women what they wanted from their yoga clothing. She then designed and sampled a range of women’s yoga clothing for a whole year until she and her manufacturer got it right. It was an exhausting process, but well worth it and so the excitement began!

Marina J’s women’s yoga clothing sold out twice in its first year and since its inception they have sold their delicious yoga clothing to women all over the world, from yoga devotees, to Pilates lovers, to yoga instructors, dance instructors – their women’s yoga clothing has been worn by the dancers on TV’s So You Think You Can Dance Australia.
